Today in History - December 27

If you're as crazy about the Rockettes as I am, you will be excited to learn that today in history - December 27, 1932 - Radio City Music Hall raised its curtain for the very first time.  To this day, Radio City Music Hall is the largest indoor theater in the world.  Every aspiring actor, dancer, and singer dreams of the day they see their name in neon lights on Radio Music Hall and perform in the gorgeous theater.  Radio City Music Hall has been home to the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular, starring the Rockettes, since 1933.  Click here to learn more about the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular 2012!

Sequins for Days

With New Year's Eve rapidly approaching, I only have one thing on my mind - sequins!  I appreciate any excuse to deck myself out entirely in sequins, glitter, and sparkles.  Check out some of the sequin-adorned goodies I adore:

You can find the shorts and skirts pictured above at one of my favorite online boutiques, Mickey's Girl.  They also have an awesome blog!

Free People has an entire page devoted to sequin dresses, several of which are currently on SALE.

$350.00 $99.95
$168.00 $99.95

If you're a daring sort, you can even bring the bling to your face.

New Face for the New Year

Hey there, 2013!  You snuck right up on all of  us, especially me.  I neglected the blogosphere for the past few months as I transitioned into my new life as a college student.  To make a long story short, this phase of my life couldn't be more exciting!  My blog underwent some serious nips and tucks, and I hope you love the new face of Hot Tea and Haute Couture.  Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to you and yours!
